The Conscience Pilate’s “Living in a Movie Scene” re-issue; Edward Pond on Leyton’s Music Lives

Originally released in 1996, The Conscience Pilate’s debut mini-album “Living in a Movie Scene” is released today for the first time on digital platforms with the original George Graves masters from Lacquer Channel: lnk.to/moviescene

Recorded at Studio 92, “Living in a Movie Scene” was #1 Indie Record on Sam the Record Man’s Independent charts upon its release in 1996 and The Conscience Pilate performed a mythical live set at a transformed Lee’s Palace, putting up floor to ceiling purple curtains turning the evening into a “happening”.

25 years later, the original Masters are released to all digital platforms, that previously only had the 1999 re-issues (re-mastered by Nick Blagona at Metalworks).

Meanwhile, TCP’s Edward Pond joins Neil Leyton for a two-part chat on Leyton’s Music Lives, with the first episode also available today – follow the link below.
