The 10th episode of Leyton’s Music Lives, Neil Leyton’s Mixcloud online radio show, features Barry Walsh as special guests and chronicles Barry’s life in music from playing in October Game through Cool Blue Halo to several line-ups of Galore; later releasing music under the monicker Mammoth Gardens with some new Galore music also planned for 2021.
Meanwhile, on Neil Leyton’s YouTube Channel, 6 newly-unearthed live videos from Galore at B-Side, in Toronto, circa 2003, will be posted throughout the first week of March. Kicking things of is Galore performing one of Barry’s Cool Blue Halo tracks, “Take it Back Now”. Check it out here:
Leyton says, “Playing guitar with Galore, alongside such great friends and people, bringing my very best live energy to Barry’s amazing songs, means only the fondest memories from one of the most chaotic but also fun times in my life. I feel truly honoured to have been a part of the Galore “mark II” ranks, and we had some amazing times playing not just in Toronto but also Los Angeles and New York City, with a few shows at the International Pop Overthrow festival also… “Parader” remains one of my favourite albums of all time.”
